By accessing or using the Airplates mobile application, rider application, vendor dashboard, or website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
These terms apply to all users of the Platform including customers, restaurant and food vendors, delivery riders, and any other participants.
Airplates is a multi-vendor food delivery platform based in Zimbabwe. We connect customers with independent food vendors (restaurants, home cooks, cloud kitchens, etc.) and facilitate delivery through our network of independent rider partners. Airplates acts as an intermediary and technology platform — we do not prepare food ourselves.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to:
When you place an order through Airplates, you are entering into a contract with the food vendor — not with Airplates directly. Airplates facilitates the order and payment but the vendor is responsible for the food prepared and its accuracy.
Orders are confirmed only upon receiving an in-app or SMS confirmation. Airplates reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion, including where a vendor becomes unavailable or where there are payment issues.
Delivery is carried out by Airplates-verified independent rider partners. While we vet and train all riders, Airplates is not liable for delays caused by third parties, road conditions, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Estimated delivery times are approximations based on real-time data and are not guarantees. We make every reasonable effort to ensure timely delivery.
We accept EcoCash, OneMoney, Visa, Mastercard, Zimswitch debit cards, and direct bank transfers. All payments are processed securely. Prices displayed are in USD or ZiG as stated on the Platform and include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
In the event of a payment error where you are charged but the order is not confirmed, the full amount will be reversed within 24–48 hours to your original payment method.
Airplates offers a satisfaction guarantee. Refunds may be issued for wrong items, missing food, non-delivery, or food that arrives in an unsatisfactory condition due to delivery issues. Claims must be made within 24 hours of the estimated delivery time through the app.
Refunds are not issued for personal taste preferences. However, significant misrepresentation of a menu item may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Vendors and riders are subject to additional terms outlined in their respective onboarding agreements. By listing on Airplates (as a vendor) or accepting deliveries (as a rider), you agree to those supplementary terms in addition to these general terms.

All content on the Platform — including the Airplates name, logo, graphics, text, and software — is the property of Airplates or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, Airplates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, inability to access it, or any third-party conduct.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Airplates in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Airplates, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Airplates reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by in-app notification or email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
